FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm #Blogmas2018

I love when my sister comes home from uni because I get to raid her beauty bag and try her products out like this Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm.

CLAIMS:

• Lightweight cleansing balm quickly dissolves stubborn eye and face makeup, including those with sunscreen. 
• Transforms from a solid balm to a silky, fluid oil upon application.
• Non-greasy. 
• Non-drying.

HOW TO USE:

1. Use fingertips to massage balm over dry skin.
2. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

Today I was trying a new foundation and also wore quite a bit more eyeshadow than normal and after a long day I really wanted to wipe away the day if you get it.

I applied a small amount onto my face and it kind of melted and spread, I could see my makeup melt away, it felt oily but once I had wiped it away with lukewarm water.

I may like my sister coming back but sadly I have to say goodbye to £24.00 because I love this product. My makeup literally melted away and even my mascara which I feel normally stains my eyelashes and all of my makeup was gone, normally I double cleanse but didn't need to. I can't explain how much I love this cleanser and I am considering looking for cheaper alternatives because my dry skin feels clean but also soft and more moisturised.
